Hama Massacre 1982, News, Sami

Hama 30 Years Ago – Thursday 11 February 1982

Assad forces decimation of the city continued in al-Kilaniyah area – the, until then, well-preserved historical area in Hama.

Assad forces stopped their mass-killings for two days, Wednesday and Thursday, to trick people into believing that the military operation in Hama ended. Their atrocious acts continued which resulted in killing more than 300 civilians on Friday 12 February 1982.
